Life Quest Girls Academy can be broken down into a 4-Part Program:

Life Quest Girls Academy provides a distraction-free, structured private school where teen girls who may be struggling in a traditional school setting can focus most of their time on academics. Each student is typically on a different educational pace or level than their Life Quest peers. This gives students the opportunity, in a structured and monitored environment, to get caught up with their academics. Many times teenage girls who have been through a therapeutic boarding school, or who have struggled in the standard education system, find they are academically behind their peers.
Whether it be making up high school credits, graduating from high school, studying for the GED or prepping for the SAT or ACT exams, students at Life Quest are encouraged to take responsibility for their educational goals. We also encourage students to strive to accumulate as many college credits as possible before they turn 18.
An academic plan will be created for each student and will vary according to each girl’s individual academic goals. Student progress will be monitored through Alta, our online academic program.
A student’s academic focus includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Completing High School course work
- Earning High School Diploma
- GED prep courses
- ACT prep courses
- SAT prep courses
- Taking and Passing all GED exams
- Taking and passing ACT exam
- Taking and passing SAT exam
- Earning college credits
- Earning Associate’s Degree
- Studying for and passing the written Drivers Education Exam
Life Quest Girls Academy is designed for middle school and high school girls who are transitioning out of highly structured environments, or for girls who may benefit from structure missing in their lives. For this reason, academic progress at Life Quest is closely tied with the freedoms and privileges available to our students. Each student must reach certain education benchmarks each week to be eligible for mid-week and off campus activities or to avoid disciplinary actions, termed “consequences” here at Life Quest.
This tie between progress toward goals and personal freedom is at the heart of our concept of Program Advancement.
In addition to creating a boarding school environment where students can focus on core academic disciplines, we also offer specific curriculum for helping students discover and develop their passions. This allows students to gain real life skills that will enable them to function independently and become a self-reliant adult while pursuing a worthy passion. At Life Quest, we are confident that, by following our program, each student will attain a basic skill set that will help ensure their success throughout their lifetime as they focus and excel in their individual areas of interest.

All students at Life Quest pick a Passionate Focus. In each area of study, we establish minimum requirements for the focus. Once a student has completed these minimum requirements, they advance to the freelance portion of that focus. They may repeat this process for multiple areas of focus.
Life Skills are essential to helping our students gain confidence as they transition from treatment programs, unhealthy home environments or a number of other situations to successful independent living as an adult. The goal of Some of the life skills that will be focused on at Life

At Life Quest Girls Academy, we believe strongly in helping our students become well-rounded adults. As a result, life skills classes are not optional, but a required part of the program of study for each of our students.
A core component of Life Quest Girls Academy is teaching principle-based living habits that allow each student to self-govern their own behaviors. Students at Life Quest are taught to have a good understanding of how their choices produce consequences. It is vital our students develop the ability to consistently make wise choices that will allow them to enjoy positive consequences which will allow them to continue their stay at Life Quest Girls Academy.
Students who routinely and habitually make wise decisions while staying at Life Quest earn more privileges which allow them to participate in customized personal activities which help them reach their personal and academic goals. We encourage all students to gain off-campus privileges (with specific boundaries) to pursue employment, job shadowing internships, shopping for necessities, exercise, and more.
Our staff works closely with the girls, constantly providing oversight and monitoring activities to keep our students on track academically and personally. We constantly encourage each student to make good, wise decisions that will allow them to earn as many privileges as are appropriate for them.
Our mission is to help all our students understand the principle of trust in all relationships and the importance it has on the level of freedom one enjoys.
All our middle school and high school girls focus on the four pillars of personal health; Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual.
We reinforce these pillars though weekly interviews with staff where students set goals. Students are also required to participate in daily personal development sessions and occasional service projects.
At Life Quest Girls Academy, we maintain a minimum weekly academic standard determined by each student’s individual academic plan. The idea is to have our students successfully prepare for college or a life vocation. It is totally amazing to watch a girl with past academic struggles soar after restoring her academic confidence and future.
